Hey there gang? This is 3 days late but here are my top 9 smoothies from February (with a few smoothie bowls thrown-in for good measure!)
Oh hey little smoothie bowl of dreams! Who knew that by adding a tiny amount of rose water to a healthy blend you could elevate it to the next level!!! This bowl has been truly pimped! Pimp my bowl! Haha! (Left to right)
Strawberry & Vanilla Smoothie Bowl
Smoothies and smoothie bowls are a great way to begin the day. Bursting with micronutrients to flood cells with goodness, they are a brilliant way to take-on nutrients for the day ahead. If you are trying to adapt your diet to make it more fruit & veggie-heavy, then I can highly recommend reaching for a juice or a smoothie as part of your routine ๐๐๐๐๐ I used frozen strawberries to create this (plus a few fresh for decoration ๐๐๐) Recipe: 1 x cup of frozen strawbs, 2 x frozen bananas, 3 x tbsp of coconut nectar & desiccated coconut, 1 x tbsp of @macacha_uk Vanilla Energy Blend), 1 x tsp of rose water, 200ml of @vitacoco coconut water…..blend and serve! It’s totally delish and sooo nourishing ๐๐๐
Blueberry, Oat & Pitaya Smoothie
Recipe: 1 x cup of bluebs, 1 x tsp of pitaya powder, 1 x banana, 3 x tbsp of coconut nectar, the juice of half a lime, 100g of cashews, 300ml of @vitacoco coconut water ๐ท๐ท๐ท
Strawberry & Chocolate Smoothie Bowl
Recipe: 1 x cup of frozen strawberries, 1 x frozen banana, 1 x tbsp of raw cacao powder, 3 x tbsp of coconut nectar, 3 x tbsp of coconut milk, 100g of nuts, 200ml of @rudehealth Tiger Nut Drink…..blend until thick, decorate and serve!
Raspberry, Strawberry & Pitaya Smoothie
Whose idea was it to share a smoothie a day for the whole of 2019?!? Oh yeah, it was mine! Jokes. I’m actually loving it and I’ll have some amazing content for my book! ๐ค๐ค๐ค
This banger tastes as soon as it looks and it kept me ticking-over sufficiently whilst I had an afternoon of recipe creating and writing! Always writing. I submitted my next recipes to the Hastings Independent Press and something very special to the Vegan Food & Living magazine which I’ll be able to share with you really soon โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธOh, and I make some seriously delicious treats for Valentine’s Day! Recipe: half a cup each of raspberries & strawberries, 1 x tsp of pitaya powder, 3 x tbsp of coconut milk, 100g of almonds, 300ml of coconut water, ice…..blend…..slurp!
Blueberry, Vanilla & Coconut Nectar Smoothie
1 x cup of frozen blueberries, seeds of half a vanilla pod, 3 x tbs of coconut nectar, 100g of almonds, 20oml of coconut water. Blend, serve, enjoy, repeat.
Kiwi, Lime & Watermelon Smoothie
Recipe: 2 x cups of fresh chopped watermelon, 1 x kiwi, the juice of half a lime, 3 x tbsp of coconut milk, 100g of cashews, 200ml of coconut water. Blend, serve, slurp, enjoy ๐๐๐๐๐
Blackberry, Raspberry & Coconut Smoothie
Recipe: half a cup each of frozen blackberries & raspberries, 3 x tbsp each of coconut milk & nectar, 100g of cashews, 200ml of @vitacoco coconut water. I also added 100ml of @rudehealth Tiger Nut Drink, blitz & slurp! ๐๐๐
Oat, Berry & Aรงai Smoothie Bowl
Oh my days. You’ve gotta get your chops around this banger of a berry smoothie! With a side do passionfruit, it’ll mosh definitely inject a bit of pash in your life!!! ๐๐๐๐๐
Aรงai is amazing for health, it’s abundant in super-duper anti-oxidants, “oh hey” youthful skin! ๐๐๐ Recipe: 2 x frozen bananas, 1 x cup of frozen berries, 1 x tsp of aรงai powder, 100ml of almond mylk, 100ml of @vitacoco coconut water, 100g of GF oats. Blend, decant, adorn with toppings of your choice. Enjoy! Yellow tulips optional ๐ค๐ค๐ค
