Juicy, fruity, hydrating, tasty, zingy, zesty, nutritious smoothie anyone?
This delightful duo are insanely healthy and provide ultimate nourishment post-workout (thanks to the added vegan protein powder I popped in). My Bang Tidy Mango Lassi has been a bit of a hit in my house recently and my Blueberry Banger is rather banging.
Each contain a potent mix of antioxidants as well as a gorgeous blend of healing, hydrating and nourishing vitamins. It’s important to add an element of protein to fruit (in any guise) to lower the GI, thus preventing the chance of spiking blood sugar levels.
I like to blend almonds into the mix as they seem to break-down very easily.
