Super Berry Smoothie

My Super Berry Smoothie is absolutely delicious and it is bursting with the most nutritious concoction of vitamins to help boost the immune system, clear the skin and help to maintain a healthy gut. I always add nuts to my smoothies as they slow down the rate at which the sugars from the fruit are absorbed in to the blood stream, preventing a sugar spike. It is a very healthy alternative to high-sugar cereals and for those who are diary or wheat intolerant.

6 strawberries
Handful of raspberries
Handful of blueberries
Handful of almonds
1 pint of coconut water
Blend together for about 1 minute and serve in any receptacle you so desire. My choice of beverage-vessel is my trusted Mason jar. Hope you like the recipe, feel free to leave your comments below if you try it out.
