My Super Berry Smoothie is absolutely delicious and it is bursting with the most nutritious concoction of vitamins to help boost the immune system, clear the skin and help to maintain a healthy gut. I always add nuts to my smoothies as they slow down the rate at which the sugars from the fruit are absorbed in to the blood stream, preventing a sugar spike. It is a very healthy alternative to high-sugar cereals and for those who are diary or wheat intolerant.
Handful of raspberries
Handful of blueberries
Handful of almonds
1 pint of coconut water
