Hi everyone! Happy New Year to you all! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and you’ve got some exciting plans afoot for 2020. I am now 33 weeks pregnant and I am feeling heavy!
My cravings are still abundant (and distracting!) and most recently, I’ve been hankering after smoothie bowls (of any kind). Açai is totally yummy and this bowl rocks my world!
Shopping list: 2 x frozen bananas, 3 x tsp of açai powder, 3 x tbsp of coconut milk & nectar, 1 x tsp of maca powder, 200ml of orange juice, 100ml of coconut water, 100g of nuts, desiccated coconut, 1 x kiwi, some fruit for decoration.
As with all of my smoothies and smoothie bowls, the recipes can be tweaked, embellished, cut-back to suit all tastes. This one is very simple and if you make extra, freeze what’s left for the next day! No waste whatsoever.
