Fuel your body with these marvellous little bites of raw, energy-boosting goodness. Simply whizz together a handful each of walnuts and dates and roll in desiccated coconut. I also like to sprinkle with chopped pistachios or raw cacao powder. Store in an air-tight container in the fridge and enjoy whenever the mood takes you. They are the perfect balance of protein and fibre and the sticky, sugary loveliness of the dates satiates any sugar-craving (I should know).
They also make a great post-exercise snack, replenishing the body and assisting muscle-recovery. I generally eat mine however any time of day as I know that each little bite is jam-packed full of healing, wholesome, nourishing ingredients.
